Brass Coffee Roasters was born from a simple belief: exceptional coffee should be rich in flavor, thoughtfully crafted, and genuinely enjoyable.
Our story began more than 15 years ago with a curiosity about coffee and a desire to understand what makes a truly exceptional cup. What started as a passion for home roasting evolved into years of experimenting with different origins, refining roast profiles, and discovering the remarkable diversity of flavors that coffee has to offer.
Today, that same curiosity and dedication are at the heart of Brass Coffee Roasters.
Based in Burlingame, California, Brass is an independent, small-batch coffee roaster built on years of hands-on experience and a genuine appreciation for the craft. We believe great coffee begins with quality green beans, but it's the care, attention, and decisions made during roasting that help bring their full potential to life.
A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO GREAT COFFEE
We don't believe exceptional coffee should be defined by a single roast level or flavor profile.
Some coffees are best enjoyed for their bright, fruit-forward complexity. Others shine through their deep chocolate notes, caramel sweetness, and rich, satisfying body.
Our goal is to celebrate that diversity.
From our bold and balanced Signature Blend to our expressive Origins Collection and distinctive offerings like Night Market, each coffee reflects our commitment to quality, flavor, and thoughtful roasting.
We carefully select coffees from growing regions around the world and roast them in small batches, allowing the character of each coffee to guide our approach.
